1. what is database version of current mrmc 3.8.0 ? still v17 ???
2. when cca there will be release compatible with v18 Leia database

1. Yes, it’s Kodi v17 compatible
2. Huge changes from Kodi on music database , still work in progress on our side. Video database is done. No eta

It would be great if mrmc could support Kodi v18 dbs as it's a pain to downgrade Kodi on Linux. And v18 is the standard out of the box install now for at least a few flavours of Linux.

At this point, I almost expect them to just wait it out to Kodi 19.

There always seem to be at least some changes to the Kodi database between versions, as the upgrade always involves a database migration. And if the 17-18 changes were as major as they seemed to be, it may well just be easier for MrMC to leapfrog over to 19 when it starts hitting betas.

It's always easier to take no action.

Kodi 18 was released 10 months ago and the database was finalized many months before that.
