Stuck loading source

Hi,

I’m running MrMc touch 3.8.0 on ios 12.0.1 on my ipad pro 10.5 and found a weird bug. If for some reason I’m out of wifi or in airplane mode entering my library shows a loading screen but it just won’t load. I’ve waited a few minutes but it just stays there.

This is what I see:

If i hit cancel then i can see the source list but if i try to enter one like for example tv shows it says (it can not load network share). Obviously this is not a network share but a local folder.

If i then go to Files -> TV Shows it works.

It is as if the media source is being handled as a remote media source although it is local on my device.

Anyway to get around this?

My steps were (in airplane mode)

1) Start MRMC and wait a few seconds
2) On my home hit tv shows
2.1) stuck at videodb://tvshows/titles
3) Hit Cancel. The list of source appear (https://pasteboard.co/IaZajJV.png)
4) Hit tvshows on the new list
4.1) see cannot connect to network server (https://pasteboard.co/IaZaIaC.png)
4.2) hit OK
5) Hit in progress tv shows and see the same error
6) Hit on Files -> tv shows.
6.1) The list loads (https://pasteboard.co/IaZbBfo.png)

got it, should be fixed but I dont think it made 3.8.1 as we have already prepared that for release.

once we do new testflight round I can add you in for iOS testing

Hi Amet,

I’m now on 3.9.5 but I’d like to let you know that the bug is still there. This is mostly annoying when traveling on airplanes (for which airplane mode is a must).

I have this exact same issue. Both TV shows and Movies. I use MrMC at my cottage with a hard drive only.
