Certain Subtitles not being displayed even when detected

Hi,

I recently started using MrMC and I'm experiencing problems with subtitles not showing during playback. The subtitles are detected by MrMC but they are not showing during playback. It happens with both external and internal subtitles. I'm running MrMC 3.9.7 on the Nvidia Shield TV. I've tested playing the files on SPMC and all subtitles are displayed there without any problems.

I tried using the upload debuglog option however it just gets stuck on the "log not uploaded" status.
