For trakt addon movie playback time is not sync with trakt.tv and the collection is not supported. The official addon supports them.
However the official application youtube is accessible in all the platform that supports mrmc and those without any illegality. Why would it be different with the addon kodi? Because it is not officially created by youtube?

On all our supported platforms, there is an existing youtube app. Plus, as this would be directly providing content, we would require permission of the content owners which we would never get. If we do not have permission from content holders, we cannot provide their content and pass App Store requirements. Regardless of how it can be done.
