It will play them without issue but HD audio will be internally decoded and sent via multi-channel PCM. Passthrough of HD audio is not possible on the AppeTV4/4K until supported by Apple.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Will the PCM output be Lossless like the original, or will it be as the normal Dolby and DTS signals and will is contain any Atmos signals etc

eh ? PCM is not a compression format. HD audio will be decoded into multichannel PCM, You pick how many channels to fit your audio system setup.

We can passthrough DD/DTS 5.1 but not any HD audio formats.

You can always get MrMC Lite and try it.

Thanks for that.

I noticed that there was a problem playing videos with HE-AAC audio, have you made any progress with this please, or will it never be possible.

Just checked with reference sample, seems fine. If there is a problem, I need a sample.

"Infuse can playback H265 but it has issues with HE-AAC audio codecs"

The screenshot with HE-AAC had video playback issues, not HE-AAC audio issues.

HE-AAC audio is not an issue with MrMC :)
