tvOS 11.2 brings few changes among which one of the most anticipated feature, namely, frame rate automatic switching.
Clearly it is still in beta as well as Xcode 9.2, but could you think of creating a preview version of MrMC for tvOS 11.2 while working, in parallel, on MrMC 3.3.0 Testflight?
I, for one, would be ready to install the tvOS 11.2 beta on my ATV 4K and I think others do so too to test the preview, say Alfa, version provided it can be installed beside the current version.
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again

See other threads where I mention installing 11.2 beta over weekend. Xcode supports using multiple versions without pollution.Everbrave wrote: ↑01 Nov 2017, 19:16 tvOS 11.2 brings few changes among which one of the most anticipated feature, namely, frame rate automatic switching.

@davilla,
I wounder if you had the opportunity to check frame-rate switching with tvOS 11.2 beta and if there are any issues with MrMC with beta 2 in general.
Thanks

Re: tvOS 11.2 preview version
Good to know; I will then update to the beta once a MrMC Version with frame-rate switching is available as beta.

Re: tvOS 11.2 preview version
I installed tvOS 11.2 beta 3 on my ATV 4K yesterday and everything, incl. MrMC, works fine.
I hope we get a preview version to try the frame-rate switching soon.
