I just noticed that playing back a movie with MrMC on my Apple TV looks different than when playing back the same video with MrMC on my iPad or with standard Kodi on any other system. Specifically, dark scenes looks worse with black blocky artifacts when comparing the same scenes. Am I missing something in my settings are there other internal compromises to get Kodi working on the Apple TV? The TV is a 50" 1080p LED and the source video is 720p.

Actually, this may just be my TV and how black scenes are displayed after all. With the lights on in the room it's far less noticeable than with the lights off.
