@davilla & MrMC Team - quest regarding futur deinterlacing

Post by vlaves »

Hi davilla & MrMC Team,

First let mne thank you for all your effort and that great software :)
I had an Apple TV with MrMC, but since the deinterlacing is "just" bob, sent it back and got now a NVIDIA SHield, just to realize, the deinterlacing is there on same level.

@davilla: you posted this in the Kodi Forum:
* MrMC finds lots of interesting things :)

https://gist.github.com/tmm1/adb24a232c9cf9c1a47e
Is this beeing integrated in MrMC on the Apple TV, is it coming to Kodi for Android or is MrMC coming to Android?
I really would like to know that, as I don't have much time to return the NVIDIA Shield TV. If it is coming for the Apple TV, I'll immediatelly get back to Apple TV :)

A hint at least would be really great :)

Thanks a lot for your support :)

Regards
Vlaves

Too early to tell, while that patch is interesting, it is incomplete.

As for future platforms, there are several under consideration, however we are not ready to make any formal announcements.
