With the release of the lite version, why not have a video ad play before media playback instead of limiting how many are displayed?
Just a thought...
A video ad seems like a good fit for a media player app, you get a decent amount of impressions for the people who don’t want to pay and you'd still have conversions for people who don't want the ads

We thought about that but decided against it. Too complicated to track downloads for licensing issues. Typical licensing is setup for a per download and we do not get enough information to tell someone that just downloads, the discards the App vs someone that downloads and keeps using the App.
