Just saw announcement that Infuse has already released an update that uses "native" HEVC decoding in tvOS 11.
I have no need for infuse but good to know it's working. I wonder how much they can actually squeeze out of the ATV4 considering it's just a streamlined software decode. As I understand it the CPU in the ATV4 has no hardware capability for HEVC.

"native" HEVC decoding under tvOS on the A8 seems to be better than what FFMpeg can do.
