No PVR clients have been started yet.

Post by voislav »

Hi,

Sorry if I'm opening the topic which is already exist.

I am trying to setup MrMC to play my m3u file. I have enabled PVR IPTV Simple Client and add M3U Play List URL which is link of the m3u as public file in my dropbox. Once I configure this I restart the app and get bellow message.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/wys38zfq893cs ... r.jpg?dl=0
Also on my home screen of MrMC I am unable to get TV section. I am able to run TV because I set up to run TV on startup.

What could be the problem.

We need to see the debuglog, http://mrmc.tv/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=373

Please make sure you reproduce the issue before you capture the log

Thank you for your reply.

I did small test to check if my m3u list is working.
I have install kodi on my laptop and did the same procedure like I did on my apple TV with MrMC. I ended up with same problem. No channel was loaded.
Now I assuming that the m3u list, which I got from my IPTV provider, is faulty.
The strange thing is that this m3u list is working fine with VLC player.
Do you maybe know how can I check if the format of the m3u is proper?

The link you use to your m3u file must redirect to a raw text file (m3u file)...

I'm not sure you can do this with dropbox...

For instance, You can use pastebin, paste just a few channels (for testing pourpuses) from your m3u playlist. Create the paste, and select the option "RAW". You'll be redirected to a page with only your paste in raw text. in the browser link you'll see a link something similar to this http://pastebin.com/raw/TSQbsf

Copy the link of your paste in the IPTV simple client, and it should work...

Hope it works for you...

Hi all,

I have exactly the same problem with a M3U8 list for my Kathrein IPTV Server. I created the list using EyeTV. The list works great with EyeTV and VLC.

Strange: With MrMC the list works sometimes and then zapping around is no problem. But in most cases after MrMC start I got the error from above and the whole app freezes.

Any idea how I could help to solve this problem?

Thanks,

Frank

would need to see mrmc.log with debug enabled, email to [email protected]. Note v2.4 has an error that disabled all pvr. v2.4.1 is wait apple review.
