Since i dont know how to make screenshots i just took photo of my tv :P Hope its enough. And i tried to choose "next move" aswell right after i took pictures. Got failed then aswell.

not seen the characteristic

'smb://USERNAME:PASSWORD@serverip_or_name/server_volume'

do your other smb:// accesses show that in the log ?

Can you get a debuglog when it fails using "next to movie" setting please

It does not seem to show any info about username or password as far as i can see.

log of something playing via smb.

That aint me setting that smb path. That is "next to movie" option.

I'm wondering maybe it can't get a proper subtitle path because it's in a rar. Try unpacking first, get rid of the rars, clean database and rescan before trying again.

@davilla and I are testing on our side with rar on network with variety of different folder setups and options, works every time without fail...

I still think it's the permissions on the server side..

Does it work for non rar videos?
