HDR switching on apple tv4k

HDR switching on apple tv4k
Will the app be updated to take advantage of apple tv4k doing format and frame rate switching now? My non hdr files are staying in hdr and not looking very good. the hdr files are fantastic but id like to not have to go into streaming box to switch formats. I have the developer beta of the apple tv and mrmc.

Any progress on dual layer Dolby Vision support? And maybe DTSHD and TrueHD as well? ^^

DTSHD and TrueHD wait for how Apple will handle Atmos. As it stand, we cannot setup the sample rate to 192kHz so we cannot passthrough. But those formats will be treated as multi-channel PCM. Same as everyone else.
Dual layer Dolby Vision support waits until I get some time to figure it out. As you can see from the blog, Koying as joined as Android Maintainer but we are in the process of bringing back python and adding the Plex for Kodi addon.
