Pull the correct date for TV shows

Right now the date for all the episodes using the Plex client is 01/01/YYYY with YYYY being the correct year the episode was first aired. It's there any way to pull the full date from Plex and not just the year? I'm using the Amber skin, but it's the same with the default skin if you use the 'Media info' view.

I'd have to check if plex gives us correct date, if you look up episode info on plex webui, does it have correct date?

Yup, the correct date's shown there, and in the metadata details it's labeled as 'Originally Available.'

Did anything ever come of this? Have same issue. Sometimes the year varies (I think it corresponds to the season) but the date is always 1/1 in MrMC even when it's correct in Plex. Thanks.

I am not seeing this in Episodes, if I bring out media info it shows correct date.

EDIT: this is in current testflight

I think this was fix but never mentioned. I see it in Amber, but the info isn't shown in new skin, soooooooooo...... <points to TestFlight thread>

So the date now show correctly in Amber ?
