I have some experience with MrMC Pro on an Apple-TV, but just got it for the Firestick 4 and have been using it a lot.
I was excited that trailers work through YouTube on the Android side, but both Firefox and Silk are kind of clunky, webpage looking.
Is there a better alternative, which opens in full screen and maybe autoplays?
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again

Re: Trailers on Firestick 4k - Is there a better way?
Well, I guess I found a better way myself.
I found an old version of the YouTube app from Google, installed it, and now clicking on Trailers opens Youtube and starts playing the trailer clip automatically, in full screen. I still see the YouTube splash screen before each trailer, but overall, it works as it should.
