Video playback OSD behavior changed on Firestick 2?

Since the update to MrMC 3.7 the OSD behavior appears broken during video playback on Firestick 2. With previous versions you could pull up the playback OSD (play, pause, FF, rewind, etc.) by pressing "ok" during playback on the firestick remote. Since the 3.7 release, pressing "ok" brings up the settings OSD instead. I can bring up the playback OSD by pressing "ok-up arrow" on the remote. But, this seems cumbersome. The previous behavior seems much more logical. Since there is no "stop" button on the firestick remote, I rely on the OSD to stop playback. Is there any way to restore the previous behavior?
