so mysql on Kodi doesn't work or mysql on MrMC doesnt work?

if its MrMC, follow our wiki page for mysql and in services you can insert relevant data to connect to your qnap. if that still doesn't work, lets see the debuglog please

Sorry .... I mean MrMc! Bought from the app store.

Well I managed to get a little bit further.

MrMc at start is migrating databes and creating MyVideos107107 , and the whole database is emty. The default database that I'm using with KODI on a Sony tv is MyVideo107.
In service settings I specify the database, for video and music also.

How can I use the existing DB on MySQL ?

Rgds and thx

I should not have added 107 to the DB name , only MyVideos and Mymusic....
