Audio not playing

Post by felamg »

Hi,

I'm new here. If i do something wrong, please let me know.

I'm having a problem with audio at somefiles. Sometimes it does no play it the main stream, it just plays the "background" sound, even If i change language, it does not play the new language, but other times it plays it normally, and other players play it. So I don't think it is the file.

Passthrough in MrMc currently off

I tried rebooting apple tv, start MrMC as first app, then play one of the files with the problem (Jack Ryan), and got the error, then I played other file I don't have the problem (Westworld), it started without the main audio, but it quickly correct itself, and started playing the main audio, I got back to the first file, and then It played the main audio.

Full log:

Two more doubds:
1) How can I capture screen of one movie at tvos?
2) is there anyway to see live info about the file playing (FPS, bitrate, codec)? How?

Regards,

1) you need Xcode to capture screen on tvOS
2) you can do it via web server -> https://wiki.mrmc.tv/index.php?title=Codec_Info

For 2, if you want to see the information on the TV you can run this command from a computer (just replace the IP [1.2.3.4] with your Apple TV IP)

curl -X POST -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","method":"Input.ShowCodec","id":1}' http://1.2.3.4:8080/jsonrpc
