ac3 pure audio file does not play on ATV 4k

I have a collection of ac3 files which were extracted from a sat receiver transport stream (*.ts) containing Dolby 5.1 audio recordings.

These files played back perfectly some time ago when the passthrough was still supported by Apple TV. Now when I try to play these files I see my receiver switching to Multichannel Input via HDMI but nothing happens. No seconds are counting no progress bar movement nothing.

I tried now to play this file with the native emby app on ATV 4k and there the files is played perfectly on my receiver with with multichannel input.

This indicates to me that there might be a solvable playback issue in MrMC.

I can provide a 9MB sample of an ac3 file with this problem if this is of interest.

I have to admit that this is something special because it is only 5.0 without LFE

I just tested the new beta and can confirm the fix.
Thank you so much for this.
There are at least 3 German radio broadcaster sending the classical music in 5.0 instead of 5.1
