Little crappy Raspberry Pis do this regularly. Can we try? I would love to Beta Test.
Little crappy Raspberry Pis have hardware decoder support for MVC. :)

So about supporting by just framing the data differently? Stereoscopic Player for Windows does this with so little CPU.

I don't think you quite understand, to get any sort of picture frame, MVC would need to be decoded. And that's the problem. While we can software decode it using ffmpeg, there are just not enough ponies (even on appletv 4K) to keep up with the media frame rate.

Can we try?

What's the value add of any media player that's not Plex unless it can do something it can't. This could be it.

Does ffmpeg have a MVC s/w decoder now?
Last I checked (arguably years ago) it didn't, if anything because returning 2 frames seemed to be an issue architecturally wise

I seem to remember seeing some other apps can transcode it, just assumed it was via ffmpeg.
