TV de-interlacing option (ATV4 4K)?

Hi,
is there any plans to allow the de-interlacing in TV mode? Espeacilly Yardif? ATV4 4K would run it I guesss now(at leat TVHclient can now!)?

Seems to me that when the devs updated the version of ffmpeg a few releases ago bob-inverse got a whole lot better. Would yadif really be better?

yadif is there, just named different (ie. follows kodi naming)

Ok, seems to me in version 3.2 the de-interlacing is "dimmed/greyed out"......so am I doing something wrong?

If the content is not interlace, the deinterlace options will be disabled.

Does the Appletv 4k have the ponies to do Yadif? Right now seems little point upgrading if it doesn't.
