I have installed and configured tvheadend with timeshift. Timeshift works, but the OSD is very confusing. I cannot see where I am nor how much is buffered in timeshift.
Maybe something like this would be useful (from MediaPortal):
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again
Any mention of illegal streaming sites, addons or any pirated material will not be tolerated. This is not democracy and any offenders will be banned and posts deleted immediately without warning.
Other than that, we hope you enjoy MrMC so far and we welcome any input and feedback you might have.

you are not the only one, but you are the only one with this request
requests are just that... requests ... we will take it into consideration but no promises that it will be added
and no amount of +1 will make us do it any faster

Re: New OSD for timeshift?
Well, I also would love a timeshift timer in the OSD of MrMC with PVR's, so I can see for how long I have a program on pause.
You may ask why ?
Just for the purpose of delayed watching of a program (without recording it), so I can see on the timeshift timer, if I have a program long enough on pause, so I can skip a few or all of the remaining commercial breaks during that program. On channels like Discovery for example, there are at least 4 commercial breaks of around 4-5 minutes, during a program that only has a program time of an hour.
So that's why one would appreciate a timeshift timer on OSD, just like Kodi 18 and others already have, for delayed watching without commercial breaks.

I'm also interested in this. It would make it easier using Timeshift.

By chance I discovered this topic.
The idea is really not bad. Surely something can be done
Let's do it
