bug: no movies and tvshows without internet

Post by sylvio2000 » 06 Feb 2018, 08:49

I use the latest emby server on windows7.

If I start MrMC without internet connection the server starts as usual (wol). But then I can only see "tv". Movies and tvshows are not shown. Even after a restart of MrMC nothing is shown.
I use the local sign-in with emby.

emby sign in relies on internet, lets see if we can reproduce and try to work around it

I thought that only the login by pin relies on internet and the other local login not?

Same for Plex. Yesterday Plex had some down time which kept MrMC from seeing my Plex server, even though the settings on the server allow for local network without auth. This is the same server I use every day. Plex clients made by Plex can get on the server because of the local network allowance. So, it would be great if MrMC could too. :)
