IOS - TV App integration

Post by [email protected] »

It would be great if MrMC was integrated with the TV App for IOS.
This would make it much easier to access shows with a central Up Next area.

So ... Amazon, ShowTime, Hulu, etc. all have integrated with TV. I see Up Next for the shows I watch on these apps.
You are not able to do what they do now?

Again, there is not a public API to do this, once Apple provides one, then we could do it too.

Sorry but it does not matter what APIs Amazon, ShowTime, Hulu, etc have access, if they are not public, then we would get rejected in App Store review. Use of private APIs is forbidden.

Please complain to Apple, only they can provide public APIs for access to TV App.

If/once a public API is made available, would this even bring all our movies and shows into the `TV app? This would be a game changer...
