I am using MrMC as client and access a Kodi mysql server. I have musicvideos as part of my music library. For example, some albums have an audio CD1 with a DVD as second disk with some musicvideo clips.
Unfortunately, MrMC currently does not support MP4/M4V, which are part of a music library. It plays the file, but audio-only. Video is missing.
Any chance to add this support?

Any mention of illegal streaming sites, addons or any pirated material will not be tolerated. This is not democracy and any offenders will be banned and posts deleted immediately without warning.

See below from Kodi forum. Support for musicvideo .m4v has been included in the Kodi 17.4. Maybe you can pull the big fix for MrMC as well?

Having said this, even with musicvideos, there is still an issue in playing them consecutively. The linked post includes info about this as well. Would also be nice to have this fixed, but first would be great to have the M4V supported for video play at all (already in 17.4). Thanks!

Have sent you a private message with the file on cloud. It is a M4V file that is part of my Kodi mySQL database. I can play it in Kodi (since 17.4 only) with both audio and video. However, MrMC does only play the audio part. Also, within Kodi, it "stalls" after playing and does not keep playing the next file and doesn't go back to main menu either. Thanks for looking into it.

1st part fixed, looking into 2nd part.
EDIT: 2nd part seems fine too. MrMC will auto play the next music video without issues.
