Hehe, I think this subject has been brought up before :)

We have no way of controlling what Apple gives us in terms of Siri input, I think we are using what we have in the best way possible.

As for the skin, if pecinko wants to make extra cash on a side, we are willing to pay :)

Thanks for the offer but I've stopped making skins for money a while ago.

I'll do it for free if/when mrmc gets suitable for everyday use in my family.

Zdravo Druže,

too bad, thout it would bring it at least a bit more near to the real thing...
But regarding usage, found out my 6 year old is using it perfectly with the old silver Apple TV remote, just a hint :)

@vlaves

yeah, native GUI with mrmc player was what I was hoping for from the beginning. Developers are not interested in it at the moment for several technical reasons.

We use Siri Remote for everything else, there's no way I can impose silver one. My youngest is 3 years old so it's a bit more complicated in our family.

Anyhow, I'm still here and I'll jump in for free if situation changes. As it looks now mrmc priorities are elsewhere ATM.

A native GUI of MrMC would be great! I also like that 2nd shelf. I hope they get Pecinko involved!

Let's make a deal - I'll do native tvOS GUI, you take care of fireTV. That might persuade Amet to adopt iOS remote app as native GUI for iOS. mrmc wins.

Problem would be that MrMC will look different across all platforms... We can't win ....

I am away from dev environment at the moment, traveling in Africa , but I will look if we can load tvOS native GUI depending on what skin user chooses.... if that works then pecinkos offer is valid, we load native GUI if user likes that and if not, XML skin is used.
