Does this version have any fixes for the stuttering observed in high MB/s video encodings mentioned in another thread?

Yes, I could not find a good "Now.You.See.Me.2.2016.1080p.BluRay.x264.DD5.1-FGT" (Corrupted files) but did find 'Star.Trek.Into.Darkness.2013.1080p.BluRay.DTS.x264-HDMaNiAcS'. Plays without skips/drops now.
Just curious, how is your audio setup ? on atv4 and under MrMC ?
ATV connected to Sony HT-SS380 Home Theater System via HDMI.
MrMC settings (translated from Spanish into English):
Channels 5.1
Output configuration Optimal
Stereo Remix Checked
Resampling Quality Medium
Enable DSP audio processing Unchecked
Activate passthrough checked
AC3 compatible receiver checked
DTS compatible receiver checked

Try same with passthrough off. I just noticed after submitting MrMC 2.6.3 for review, that the way iOS/tvOS is doing passthrough is slightly nonstandard according to our AudioEngine API.

I was just curious if any interesting plans came out of the cryptic (at least to me) posts from the Mrmc devs and Pecinko? Some collaboration sounded exciting. :D

Hi,
Tried w/o passthrough and v 2.6.3.
Same video stuttering, audio is fine but video jumps frames.
Same movie, but with just 5 gigabytes size has no problems playing just fine, with or w/o passthrough.
The troublesome one has 40 gigabytes size and skips frames (even via ethernet).

Is this the same problem as viewtopic.php?f=15&t=845 ?

Any stuttering I get is when the video bit rate is high, seen using the codec info overlay. By high I mean around 34mbit/s or greater.
