I get to be first to say wow. "Wow!"

Scrubbing works great on both my Siri remote and my 3rd party remote. The latter has lost the ability to skip forward 30 secs and back 10 though. That only works now if I hit pause first.

Scrubbing is fun stuff. :)

When paused and scrubbing, the swipe down, as you say, brings up further menus. What I see is the "cursor" alternates top to bottom to top a few times, then settles. It's as if that swipe down is a long scroll and top and bottom of the screen are linked so it goes back and forth.

scrubbing thumbnail didn't work well for a vc1 in m2ts file. thumbnail didn't change with scrubbing but got oddly pixelated. Same can be said for mpeg2 in .ts file.

home videos of 1080i AVCHD in m2ts and mts containers have some problem showing the proper thumbnail when deinterlace is selected, but the problem pretty much clears up when bob-inverted is used.

watching live tv the scrubbing option reverts back to the old controls as it should.

but when watching recordings through the same add-on I'm presented with the scrubbing but get no thumbnail at all which also means I don't see a timestamp.

Scrubbing doesn’t work so well in PVR recordings (TVHeadend).

Click to bring up bar, swipe to scrub, click to resume and it jumps all the way to the end of the recording and back to the list of recordings.

Can get logs if needed :)

Also, scrubbing doesn't work if Plex is transcoding. :)

scrolling back and forth in the recently added and in progress menus has been laggy and cumbersome.

Scrubbing... NICE

Quick feedback with DVBLink PVR while scrubbing mode is active in settings:
- tapping to go forward or backward 10s 30s 1m etc, doesn't work anymore while watching a recording (while in Live TV, tapping like described above, works) Here I don't see the thumbnail box appearing while pausing a recording.

Can this be fixed, so tapping while watching recording works, to go forward or backward. So I can still use scrubbing with library content. Otherwise I have to enable "Enable Sire expert mode" to go forward/backward while watching a recording and loose scrubbing functionality in library content.

Also with library content, is it possible to also have a tapping scrubmode, to go forward/backward with 10s, 30s, 1m etc, beside using the touchpad to go to the desired point in the content ?

If they can get the scrubbing thumbnail working for mpeg2 recordings that would really be great for forwarding through commercials. You could see exactly where you are, no guessing. If you did want to do the old style tapping you could always do that by enabling expert mode, as the instructions above say.

I just tested expert, and I see what you mean now. But the benefits of expert don't outweigh the ability to scrub. So folks in my situation should leave expert off and just get used to hitting pause before any trickplay. It's worth it to scrub. Great work, gentlemen!
