Re: Testing MrMC 3.4.1

Still having crashing problems. Just now MrMC crashed with no interaction at all - no button push on remote. I let the video I was watching complete, as soon as the video closed and went to the main menu, crash. I saw something similar a couple days ago. It seems that the crash is happening when Mr...

Only one database is supported. I suggest looking into 'profiles' and multiple movie sources.

Re: Playing Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD MA

eh ? PCM is not a compression format. HD audio will be decoded into multichannel PCM, You pick how many channels to fit your audio system setup.

We can passthrough DD/DTS 5.1 but not any HD audio formats.

You can always get MrMC Lite and try it.

It will play them without issue but HD audio will be internally decoded and sent via multi-channel PCM. Passt...

Re: 3D MVC Bluray Support

While we can software decode it using ffmpeg, there are just not enough ponies (even on appletv 4K) to keep up with the media frame rate. Does ffmpeg have a MVC s/w decoder now? Last I checked (arguably years ago) it didn't, if anything because returning 2 frames seemed to be an issue architectural...

Possible related to version of binary pvr we are using for TVHeadend. We just updated pvr.mythtv and plan to do the same for all binary pvr's.

exactly :)
I like the current/intended changes because it brings the ATV feeling and is significant to further distinguish MrMC UI from Kodi.
Will that be independent of the skin used?
That's the plan :)

I enabled debug logging, does MrMC need a restart to pick the setting up? I’ll grab another tomorrow :)

Re: Testing MrMC 3.4.1

From what I can tell, most of the newest fixes and features you are playing with focus on the Apple TV. Do any of these filter down to the Shield? I ask because I appear to still be in the Beta list for Google Play, but I'm at version 3.3 on my install, and I'm having trouble with HDR content playi...
