Re: MrMC deleted all my app data after latest update

Well, we don't delete app settings when updating. Not sure what happened as we never see that when we roll versions.

I assume you mean 3.3.1. It should be retaining video calibration. It was a regression from 3.2.

Which AppleTV ? 4 or 4K ?

Re: ATV4 with 3.3.1 stopped identifying display refreshrate

Showing 0 hz in system info has no relation to display refresh switching. Only the AppleTV 4K can switch display refresh rate. That value is interrelated with other things like display calibration and it caused a regression, so it was reverted during the testflight series. "Sync to display" will wor...

Re: White Clipping

The choice is limited (16 - 234) or full (0 - 255). There is no video spec for 16 - 253.

You can always adjust brightness/contract for ffmpeg/videotoolbox but not avfoundation codecs.

Re: App Zoomed in -- Cannot Zoom Out

Just an update. Display issue is resolved. Now sorting out some playback issues. An FYI, display switching is not possible on the new FireTV 4K device. It only presents one setting so we can not switch too any other. Complain to Amazon as the hw can certainly display switch but for some reason they...

Re: Two Display Setting Questions [SOLVED]

1) Adjust display refresh rate changes display refresh to match the content you are playing. 2) Sync playback to display changes the a/v sync from audio as master to video as master. Pick one or the other, not both. 1) is better as to keep a/v sync, audio packets might get dropped or silence added.
