Re: resolution change results in TV setup message

I noted that when switching back from watching a tv show to the EPG, my TV displays a setup message which is normally appearing when I am changing the video input. This is probably related to the change of screen resolution of the new build. This setup message is annoying and is not appearing in Ko...

Re: MrMc vs Infuse - picture quality

This has probably been discussed many times but I bring it up again since both apps now have really good Plex integration. Is upscaling etc. better with MrMc? I suspect they are similar right now but once we bring in the advanced upscalers, MrMC will be much better. Will focus be on chrom...

Re: Issue WIth SDR Movies

Yes, disabling resolution switch did the trick too. (AVR was doing the upscaling to the tv). Looks like the AVR upscaler has an issue with this option. Thanks! If you don't mind, just one last question: what is better, set 709, and leave the nvidia auto turn 2020 with avr on or disable AVR upscaler...

Re: Issue WIth SDR Movies

Err... Super bizarre... What is the shield resolution? Is resolution switching enabled? All I can think of is the avr not supporting bt2020 correctly... OP says "HDR movies are displayed correctly" Could the colors described be simply a colorspace mismatch? Anyway, @SapoMalo, the Shield doesn't swi...

This is big for a company that said Atmos support would come. What on earth are they thinking?

TestFlight for 3.6.1 is now closed. Big thanks to all that helped get 3.6.1 released.
Releases are waiting App store reviews now.
LOL. better tell Amazon to just release this one not 3.6.0.

It's harcoded to 720p as minimum.
No clue what could happen with SD resolutions, I cannot test that.
I have 480i DVD rips which output as 720p now.

I play them back with my old oppo bdp93 anyway as its upscaler is superior to anything else I have.
