Re: Testing MrMC 3.3.0

Plex has trailers and MrMC has trailer, it was not hooked in before and now it is... if you wanted trailers they are now included, if you didn’t want them just simply don’t use them... trailers are only visible in movie information page, it’s hardly in anyone’s way. It seems that we can’t do anythi...

Re: Playback crash back to main menu and NCSI error

The call to "http://www.msftncsi.com/ncsi.txt" is a check for CCurlFile::IsInternet. Think of it as a ping to check that the box is actually connect and can route to the internet. If "http://www.msftncsi.com/ncsi.txt" fails, it will fall back to "http://www.w3.org/" These two sites are always prese...

Playback crash back to main menu and NCSI error

https://gist.github.com/anonymous/2b53b7f5efe96e3b30179582fa963f98 That's the log. A few times recently I've had a crash from playback back to the main menu. This is the first time I've bothered to get a log for it. I'm really puzzled why a curl call to http://www.msftncsi.com/ncsi.txt is being aske...

Re: Testing MrMC 3.3.0

The codec info on ATV4, when watching live tv via dvblink, shows 0 channels for audio track. Audio seems fine so I suppose it's just cosmetic.

Re: Testing MrMC 3.3.0

MrMC Touch testflight seems to fix a problem I was seeing with broadcast TV missing/dropping frames here and there.

Hi,
is there any plans to allow the de-interlacing in TV mode? Espeacilly Yardif? ATV4 4K would run it I guesss now(at leat TVHclient can now!)?
Seems to me that when the devs updated the version of ffmpeg a few releases ago bob-inverse got a whole lot better. Would yadif really be better?

Re: DRM error 2

You should read the Shield TV forums here https://forums.geforce.com/default/board/159/

Many people having the same problem after 6.1 update. Careful, apparently if you do as their instructions say it bricks the device.

Re: 25fps material at 50fps stutter

Davilla, just want to bring this up again. I'm watching the new Blue Planet series, 25fps material, and MrMC changes to 50fps and there is occasional stutter. Playback in Plex on the Shield TV is at 25fps, not 50, and is smooth. Playback on the ATV4 at 50fps is smooth. Playback on a Roku Ultra OS8 (...

Re: Fire TV 2 vs Fire TV 3 (AKA Fire TV 1.5)

Thank you for your reply stating that FireTV 2017 has significant issues. How can Amazon then advertise that it supports Dolby Atmos ? So I will send it back to Amazon as it does not look like a fix to be available and I don't want to be stranded with a device not supporting my minimum needs. My ba...
