Re: Dolby Vision

The YouTube videos are correct, you should set it to 4k SDR at 60Hz and then turn on match dynamic range and match frame rate. It's not a "forced upscaling" that is doing though, it's doing a conversion of the dynamic range (colorspace) to Dolby Vision, and that causes some very slight artifacts in ...

Have in mind, that when I disabled frame rate switching in ATV settings I didn't have any issues whatsoever, but that's not an optimal solution.
Since frame rate switching on the ATV I've had a 200ms delay on my Denon AVR, but it's global for every app, not just MrMC.

Re: Testing MrMC 3.7.0

Removed stuff that's not applicable anymore... Opacity: -Confusing OSD when the video is playing. If I tap I get the information, and can't get it to go away, until I two-finger tap, which brings up the playback buttons where I can scrub and stop and etc, and then a single tap to get it to go away. ...

Re: MrMC on ATV 4K question

Meant to say... when I get a moment I'm gonna switch the Ethernet cables over in case it changes anything or the delay switches to the Shield. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk Post a debuglog too, and most likely put it in the TestFlight thread like @cosmoxl said since you're running Ariana, un...

Hi Tim. In my case both hardwired and connected to the same TV.
The router, TV, Shield and ATV 4K are all on the same media centre stand.
Very weird then. What's the client that you're using for the database? SMB/NFS and local MrMC, MySQL, Emby, Plex?

Re: MrMC on ATV 4K question

I don't have this problem either. How are both connected to your network? If it's wireless how far from the router are they? Are they in a cabinet, outside a cabinet? A debuglog might help...

Re: Audio breaks up and drops out completely

Is Emby transcoding or direct play? It sounds like a possible network issue, but there's a lot of other variables, so logs help narrow it down.

Re: Thumbnail/info database

Yeah, your file will play directly with MrMC. With the Emby app it could transcode (and I really disliked the emby app but that's just personal preference), but I'm not sure what's in your MP4/M4V files since that's just a container like MKV.
