Any chance you could PM me this too? I thought I had a dual layer track but I was mistaken.
I did.

Regarding the m2ts with second DV video stream problem, is there a sample that can be tested that should work?
Check your PM. There is a link to a small dual-track Dolby Vision clip (315MB). I didn't have any problem playing this little clip on the latest TF build. Didn't see any macroblocking.

Re: Mi Box Oreo - MrMC does not open

What is the build that is crashing? I installed 3.6.2 from the Play Store yesterday and it seems to be working fine (not crashing).

Re: Dolby Vision

Is this the backwards compatibility you speak of? ... that those LG demos will play on my SDR system and look great because the system knows to play the SDR layer? Sort of... The 3 main Dolby Vision profiles are 4, 5 and 7. 4 and 7 are dual-layer profiles (Base + Enhancement layers). Profile 5 is a...

Re: Dolby Vision

Folks, repeat after me: dual-track, dual-track :D

It is dual-track Dolby Vision that is not playable. Single track dual-layer ones play fine even though Apple states that it is not supported. All those LG demo files are single track dual-layer.

Re: Device Compatibility

Are any of your AMLogic devices on the Google approved manufactures list? Good question! I had forgotten about the Mi Box which is a Google certified Amlogic box. Guess what, it does show up on that device. Other paid apps do show up on the noncertified boxes. So, I'm not exactly sure what is going...

Re: Device Compatibility

It is showing up as incompatible with all Amlogic boxes (running Android 7 or even 8). It is also incompatible for the Google Nexus player (Android 8).

that's changed since koying took over android side
I see. It looks like the requirement for Android 7 and up hasn't changed. All my Amlogic and Realtek boxes show up as incompatible. I think they are all on Android 6. I will have to check one of the Amlogic boxes with Android 7 firmware.
