Re: Google Play Store Versions

I agree that the app should work on rooted devices. If you implement google pay (renamed from android pay) in the future, just disable that functionality if the device is rooted.

Re: Obviously useful addons

Not sure what you mean by extra files? If you don't use a centralized MySQL DB, your library is kept locally in Userdata/Database in files like MyVideos107.db and Textures13.db. These are SQLite DBs. If you just want to export your library, I know Kodi has an export library function, I'm sure MRMC d...

Re: Obviously useful addons

What is the reason for refraining from a SQL database on your NAS but utilizing a backup to your NAS? They're completely different things. One requires you to run, maintain, and update a MySQL DB to hold your live library in a centralized location. That isn't a backup at all. The other is, well, ba...

Re: MrMC Lite vs MrMC Touch

I just came here looking for this information, and it wasn't trivial to find! I suggest you amend the appstore description to inform users of the lite limitations.

Re: Mounted SMB in Library

I can navigate to it just fine, but I want to add it to my library.

Edit: I figured it out, go to the file view then hit the context button and "set content type" and it gets scanned to the library flawlessly. Never did it this way before, always had to add a source.

Mounted SMB in Library

I have my NAS mounted on the ShieldTV and MrMC sees it as "Media". Is there any way to add a path like "Media/Movies" to my library, so I can use the mounted path rather than MrMC's built-in SMB support? MrMC is unable to browse to the root filesystem, I assume due to android sandboxing.
